Rose+Krieger clamp and release tube connecting system

June 2014 Enclosures, Cabling & Connectors

Rose+Krieger is a specialist in aluminium profiles, connection systems, linear actuators, lifting columns, industrial stairs and working platforms. One of its most effective product ranges is a connection system that allows the reliable and stable connection of round and square tubes. Three different ranges are available, offering different features and load capabilities.

Light Clamps – the clever plastic series

RK Light Clamps plastic connection system guarantees utmost flexibility thanks to the design of its reducing bushes. This design enables the clamping of a variety of tube sections and diameters. Changing to other diameters or sections (round and square tube) requires only the change of the reduction bush. The clamping elements, characterised by their resistance to chemicals, are particularly appropriate for sensitive applications under laboratory conditions and for industrial applications, for instance, in the food, beverage or packing industry.

Solid Clamps – the original aluminium tube connectors

Due to the simple clamping principle, the aluminium die-cast elements of this tube connection system enable the fast assembly of round and rectangular precision tubes. Its variety of types results in an interesting and cost-effective alternative to conventional welded connections. The product range includes clamping elements for round tubes with diameters of 8-80 mm and square tubes with diameters of 20-80 mm. More than 170 basic versions in 400 different variations are available, with three different basic designs. The huge range of models, clamp diameters and possible combinations is unique on the market. The tube connection system comprises clamping elements for static and dynamic loads.

Tube connection systems made of stainless steel

In addition to the other pipe connection series, the precision-cast elements can also be combined with the Blocan profile system. The following series types are currently available in sizes 12-40 mm: flange clamps (FK), angle clamps (W), base clamps (FS) and cross clamps (K). Stainless steel clamps are particularly important for users working in the fields of chemical and food technology. The demand for stainless steel clamps is especially high for the bottling, packaging and processing technology as well as for outdoor appliances and equipments bearing thermal loads.
