Metso has won an order from Technip to supply the latest generation of its automated on-off valves and actuators to the Algiers Refinery. Metso’s high-performance on-off valve and actuator solutions were selected because of their proven quality and reliability in the most demanding refining applications worldwide. They will help the plant to meet its challenges of optimising the various units of its process via the modernisation of the instrumentation to sustain the production of clean fuels as well as reduce maintenance and plant shutdown costs.
