Atlanta-based Automationdirect.com, the current global distributor of the Koyo range of DirectLogic PLCs, has appointed DirectLogic Automation (DLA) as its distributor for Africa and the Middle East. DLA has a close working relationship with the DirectLogic products since 1995 and has worked hard to reconnect with old DirectLogic PLC users.
“The results have been outstanding with the existing customer base welcoming the effort,” says MD Winston Ilsley. The company has also identified new users not only in South Africa, but throughout the continent and the Emirates, that were not supported before. The plan is to continue generating growth through the newly developed marketing strategies and cost reductions, which, according to the company, have allowed the PLC prices to reduce substantially since last year.
