SKF has announced a seven-year contract with Volvo Car Corporation for the delivery of rear wheel and front suspension bearing units for the newly launched Volvo V40 model. It has developed rear wheel hub bearing units specifically for the V40 and the premium demands of Volvo. These, along with the MacPherson suspension bearing units are reliable technical solutions developed for the tough requirements of the automotive market. The products are manufactured in Italy and France and SKF has already started delivering against the contract which covers the full production volume for the series.
