Deltabar M - the latest technology for convenience

July 2012 Pressure Measurement & Control

According to feedback Endress+Hauser received over the years, differential pressure instruments can be a challenge to install. It is also known that gas trapped in a pipeline will often cause an unstable zero point in a differential pressure (DP) instrument as it expands and contracts with changes in ambient temperature. Incorrectly aligned impulse lines are another trouble source, especially when the lines have already been lagged and heat traced.

These and other challenges were considered when the company’s engineers designed the new Deltabar M differential pressure device. The result is an instrument that makes the replacement of an older generation DP device (whatever the manufacturer) a genuine opportunity to save time and benefit from the universal connectivity and latest technology Deltabar M has to offer.

Simple selection (Applicator – www.za.endress.com) and ordering tools (0n-line Shop – www.ze.endress.com/shop), make it easy to ensure that the device completely matches the application requirements, making installation and commissioning easier than before. Due to its highly modular design, construction materials, display and safety options can be selected so users only pay for the features they need.

Endress+Hauser’s commitment to instrument reliability and its Quality Instruments Quickly (QiQ) 48-hour manufacturing promise, ensures Deltabar M can be manufactured within two days and shipped directly to the required site.

Confirmation of a cost-effective solution

“We have been testing the Deltabar M for over a year and can state that this DP instrument is exactly what we needed. The Deltabar M fits many applications where the higher accuracy and functionality of the Deltabar S is not required. Furthermore, the technician who replaced the old instrument with the new Deltabar M confirmed this was really easy and quick to do,” Rudolf Eichin, engineering and production manager, HeidelbergCement, Germany.
