Bosch Rexroth Africa has appointed Alex Booth as the new director of African Operations. In addition to this new position, Booth will also continue serving in his current position as the company’s regional manager in West Africa. He will oversee the company’s operations across West Africa, Namibia, Mozambique and Bosch Rexroth Africa Development (BRAD).
With over five years of experience as the regional manager in West Africa, Booth brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. His hands-on experience, including four years of living and working in Guinea and Mali, has equipped him with a deep understanding of the region’s unique challenges and opportunities.
Commenting on his new role, Booth stated, “I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to take on this new role. I look forward to supporting and imparting my knowledge and experience to all the people I will be working with. This is a very exciting opportunity, and I am eager for the challenge.” The company’s CEO, Chris Riley expressed his trust in Booth’s leadership: “We have every confidence that he will play his part to ‘Move Today, Drive Tomorrow, Shape Africa’. We look forward to continued progress under his leadership, and are excited about the company’s future on the continent.”
