CX-Supervisor is Omron’s PC-based visualisation software package. It is geared towards machine visualisation and is comparable with a small to medium power scada product. The software is known for its full visualisation, ease-of-use, its instant overviews and its advanced functionality. The enhanced CX-Supervisor V3 is more powerful, more versatile and even more convenient to use.

Smart graphics facilitates the easy creation of objects that include actions, animations and associated points. Users can create a virtual machine that looks just like the yet-to-be-built one from a graphics library containing over 3000 objects ranging from tanks, pipes and pumps through to PLCs.
One-click simulation enables the application to be instantaneously tested with a single click of the mouse. Time and money is saved as users can test an application using a simulation of the PLC without having to make a machine available.
The remote maintenance feature offers the convenience of monitoring the status of an application from anywhere using a web browser.
Multivendor compatibility via OPC is designed specifically for PC-based machine visualisation. The CX-Supervisor V3 communicates with a wide range of cutting-edge devices enabling users to communicate with anything they may currently have in their machines.
Tailored to suit most requirements, two versions are available:
Supervisor Machine Edition
This package is flexible and powerful enough to control and supervise a complete machine or an entire process; it is perfect for almost all visualisation requirements. It supports a connection of up to 15 devices and up to 500 user-defined points. Making use of a Windows explorer style environment this package allows advanced graphic interfaces to look simple and easy to use.
Supervisor Plus
The Plus version shares the same power and features as the Machine Edition, but is used in the exceptional cases where the application demands a higher number of devices or points that can be handled by the CX-Supervisor V3 Machine Edition version.
