Seen thanking Clint (left) for his presentation and sponsorship of the evening is Durban branch chairman, Howard Lister.
The branch’s May Technology Evening was held at a new venue, the Durban Country Club, which is proving to be a great success. Owing to the first Wednesday of the month being a public holiday, the meeting was held on 8 May and was well attended by some familiar as well as some new faces. The topic was ‘Level measurement technology’ and Clint Viviers, sales manager at Vega Instruments, discussed the different level technologies (ultrasonic, radar, guided radar, capacitive and nuclear) and which are best suited in various applications. Clint gave a lively and interesting presentation, showing his strengths on the technical side and of course his passion for process control where he has worked for the last 20 years.
The branch is promoting its Technology Evenings and the associated beneficial networking opportunities by offering the chance to win an external hard drive. Attend the most Technology Evenings during the period May-December and be part of the draw!
