The Southern African Regional PROFIBUS Association (SARPA) is an affiliated RPA of PROFIBUS International (PI). SARPA consists primarily of vendors of PROFIBUS equipment who have taken on the responsibility of promoting and ensuring correct application and implementation of PROFIBUS solutions. Six years ago SARPA introduced to South Africa a regional PROFIBUS COMPETENCE CENTRE (PCC). Based in Johannesburg it has up to today trained more than 600 certified PROFIBUS engineers and installers. In 2010 SARPA launched its Users Forum. The Process Show 2011 will be used to publically promote the Users Forum and visitors to SARPA in Hall 5, Stand N3 will be able to win a 40” LCD TV simply by registering on the stand.
