Flexible graphic HMI terminals

The E700 provides access to all the benefits of a fully graphic terminal. Both static and dynamic graphics can be used to render dialogues rich in detail facilitating more intuitive user operation. This shortens training time for the operator, resulting in more cost-effective use of the terminal.

Objects can be shown in up to 256 colours. The terminal comes with a comprehensive library of standard objects and symbols, and if these are not enough, new ones are easy to design and use. The graphic display is a backlit STN, with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. This means there is room for a lot of information in the same dialogue window. Several dialogue windows can easily be linked together in a logical structure, making the terminal flexible and adaptable to the relevant application.

The E700 terminal makes it easy to create an operator dialogue that is easy to understand. It has 16 function keys, which can be used for controlling, with an explanatory text, and 14 LEDs for status indication. The function keys can be used locally in each screen or with a global function for the entire project. The alphanumeric keyboard allows easy entry of both letters and numbers.
