Errol Pillay, CEO of Afrika Tikkun Services, added that Afrika Tikkun Afrika is based on a cradle-to-career model that supports children from infancy into adulthood and has helped almost 20 000 beneficiaries a year for the last 21 years become more employable, productive and responsible, enhancing their self- efficacy. Simanye Trust, on the other hand, focuses on addressing systemic problems through enterprise development initiatives aimed at developing self-sufficiency.

At the inauguration, guests were also entertained by political analyst, Justice Malala with a thought-provoking presentation entitled ‘Beyond the Noise: South Africa 2016-2026’.
