MultiCon now with email functionality

July 2015 IT in Manufacturing

The Simex MultiCon (meter + controller + recorder + HMI in one package) series of devices are now equipped with an e-mail notifications system, which enables the sending of e-mails directly from the MultiCon and makes the device ideal for high-tech alarm and monitoring systems. Up to 32 different email messages can be defined and the user can select the specific event which would trigger the sending of the message.

The e-mail message consists of the following elements:

• Topic and text of the message (both with fixed content).

• An attachment containing momentary recorded values from the selected groups or the individual measurement channels in .csv format.

Because the MultiCon supports secure logging (encrypted by TLS or SSL protocol), the account from which notifications are sent can be opened on any e-mail server.

Contact RET Automation Controls to arrange a demonstration.
