Autonics TK series temperature controllers

February 2015 Temperature Measurement

The TK series digital temperature controllers from Autonics Corporation bring highly accurate and precise temperature control at globally competitive prices. The standard type, high accuracy controllers offer reliable performance suited for diverse applications in food processing and packaging, plastic and rubber processing, and mining and chemical industries.

The PID temperature controllers with auto-tuning function allow convenient initial temperature control set up by automatically adjusting the setting parameters through analysis and feedback. The PID algorithm used in Autonics temperature controllers have been perfected by its research and development team over many years, to provide optimal and stable temperature control for any demanding or sensitive applications.

The TK series is capable of producing high-speed 50 ms sampling cycles with 0,3% display-accuracy. With simultaneous heating/cooling control function and automatic/manual control functions, the TK series provides flexible, high-performance temperature control. It also allows the option to choose between SSR drive voltage output and current output. Users may also choose standard control, phase control, or cycle control when using SSR drive output. The multi-SV function allows users to set up to four preset set values (SV) to switch between different set up configurations.

Communication function through RS-485 Modbus RTU protocol and parameter setting via PC are also available for added user convenience. The free comprehensive device management software (DAQMaster) from Autonics can be used to program parameters for the TK controllers and allows users to hide unnecessary or seldom used parameters or group frequently used parameters for easy access.

The TK series, featuring high luminance LED display with large, easy-to-read digits, provides performance and versatility that can be expected of high-end process controllers. Available in five standard sizes and a variety of customisable features, the TK series temperature controllers promise to bring increased efficiency in controlling temperature sensitive processes and raise production productivity.
