Schneider Electric has released the new Pelco Esprit SE IP integrated pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera system, including both standard and pressurised models for video surveillance and IP network connectivity. Built upon the Esprit SE positioning system platform, the system now features dynamic window blanking, auto tracking, internal scheduling clock, electronic image stabilisation and multi-language menus – all formerly reserved for high speed domes only.
Designed and built for continuous use, it features an integrated camera and lens, pan-and-tilt unit, multiprotocol receiver and Sarix-based H.264 encode. It also has dynamic remote positioning capabilities and is capable of remaining completely operational in up to 145 kmph wind conditions. The integrated system has responsive, high-speed positioning capabilities, fully configurable video streaming, easy browser based set-up, outstanding weather protection, and a level of aesthetics and ease of installation that remains unmatched in the video security market.
“The Esprit SE IP system addresses high-performance, environmental PTZ requirement and meets our customers demand for open IP-based solutions to meet their evolving security needs. Pelco by Schneider Electric products are founded, designed and built on a vast and respected history of both innovation and quality,” says Julian Moss, product manager for Pelco security products in South Africa and the SADC. “The Esprit SE IP series cameras offer high quality video in any direction featuring a 36x optical zoom, an ideal security camera for any system.”
