Siemens Networks awards Rittal 'Supplier of the Year'

Rittal, the successful system provider of housing and enclosure technology, was chosen by Siemens Networks in Beijing as the '2006 Supplier of the Year.' Siemens Networks' 100 most important suppliers were present at the Siemens Networks international suppliers' convention in the Chinese capital. The highlight of the 2-day convention in the metropolis of 13 million was the presentation of the '2006 Supplier of the Year' award to Rittal.

According to Willi Schmid, executive vice president IT at Rittal, who accepted the award. "The decisive factors of quality, logistic performance, product launch, world-wide presence and flexibility with extraordinary customer requirements were evaluated. Rittal received the best marks here. "He went on to say: "Conferring this award underscores the excellent performance, especially of the employees at Rittal RCS in Haiger, who have our special gratitude."

Siemens manager Herbert Merz and area manager Karl Kirschenhofer honoured the outstanding collaboration with Rittal in their speeches. The two expressed the hope that Rittal would also work in the same enthusiastic way with the new company, Nokia Siemens Networks.
