Temperature Measurement

Multichannel temperature instrument

September 2005 Temperature Measurement

Multiple temperature measurements are often required at the same time, in order to optimise processes or for research and testing purposes. Testo now produces a versatile temperature-measuring instrument that can measure up to three different temperatures simultaneously. It can store measured data according to the different locations, ensuring easy management of an entire system.

Accurate temperature measurements play an important part in process optimisation and during laboratory testing. Incorrect temperatures can affect product quality as well as cause machine failure. Additionally, several temperature measurements often need to be measured simultaneously for optimal monitoring of the complete process system.

The testo 735 is able to store measured data according to location or product, which can then be transferred onto PC via a USB connection. Consequently, uncomplicated management of various systems is ensured. The device has a temperature range of -200 to +1350°C as well as a wide selection of Pt100 and thermocouple probes (Type T/K) for immersion, surface and air measurements. Also available is the precision penetration/immersion Pt100 probe, which has a system accuracy of up to 0,05°C, thus, delivering accurate measurements for applications such as quality assurance, laboratories measurements or calibration services.

The user-friendliness of the testo 735 is enhanced by its ergonomic design, Auto-Hold function that automatically recognises a stable temperature value as well as easily accessed minimum and maximum values on its large two lined, blue backlit, display. Additionally, an acoustic alarm has been integrated that is immediately triggered if high or low limit values are exceeded. The testo 735 is robust due to its IP54 rated housing, thus, protecting it against hard knocks and jolts.
