The Industrial Automation, scada and Process Control security conference (Johannesburg: 23 and 24 August 2006) will be of interest to any organisation that relies on industrial automation for growth and indeed business survival. Industrial enterprises and utilities increasingly rely on their control systems (scada, DCSs, PLCs, RTUs, and IEDs) to improve their reliability and efficiency. These new systems are proving increasingly vulnerable to security breaches and attacks. Complex and dynamic security environments often require difficult decisions to be made.
