Honeywell improves operator efficiency at Russian refinery

Honeywell has announced that its Experion HS process automation system has been implemented at Kuban Oil and Gas Company’s Ilsky Refinery, one of the largest refineries in Russia’s Krasnodar Territory. The new automation system will help the refinery improve process performance and minimise costs, while maintaining a high level of safety.
The Experion HS process automation system meets Kuban’s unit control and data collection requirements, enabling control and monitoring systems to operate with enhanced stability and reliability. The platform includes an efficient engineering environment, providing innovative applications with an enhanced human-machine interface (HMI); a remote control and monitoring capability; and flexible access for data collection.
