Honeywell wins three awards at 2012 China automation summit

Honeywell was recognised for automation excellence with three awards at the 2012 China Automation Service Products Summit. The company won the Gold Medal in Automation Service Products, Excellence in Lifecycle Service Brands and Excellent Case Study in Automation Services.

The first annual event recognises excellence in automation service products and was co-hosted by the China Instrument Manufacturers Association, Machinery and Electronics Business, and Automation Today organisations. Honorees were selected by a group of automation and industry experts.

In awarding the Gold Medal in Automation Product Services, judges recognised Honeywell for its global service support centres that employ thousands of engineers and experts to deliver round-the-clock, localised customer service. The Excellence in Lifecycle Services Brands award also honoured the company’s approach to helping manufacturers optimise performance and efficiency by being involved at every step, from a project’s preliminary discussion and system configuration, to comprehensive hardware and software upgrading, and on-site and remote expert assistance.
