Invitation to present at the SAIMC Power Hour sessions
March 2026
SAIMC
The SAIMC invites professionals and thought leaders in automation, mechatronics, computer engineering, artificial intelligence and other emerging 5IR technologies to volunteer as speakers for our monthly Power Hour sessions.
What is Power Hour?
This is a focused, 30 minute virtual session held on Microsoft Teams every last Wednesday of the month from 12:00 to 12:30. It is designed to bring the latest industry insights to SAIMC members outside formal branch areas. The short format fits comfortably into a lunch break while still leaving space for questions and interaction.
We are looking for speakers who can:
• Share cutting edge developments, case studies or practical insights
• Inspire and educate members on technologies shaping the future
• Deliver engaging content within a concise time slot
If you’d like to contribute your expertise and support the growth of the broader automation community, we’d love to hear from you.
To volunteer as a speaker, please email johan.maartens@saimc.co.za or jane.collett@saimc.co.za at your earliest convenience.
Let’s empower the industry, one Power Hour at a time.
